張清杰,，材料科學(xué)家,，中國科學(xué)院院士，武漢理工大學(xué)教授,。1958年11月生于河南省西峽縣,，籍貫河南西峽。1982年本科畢業(yè)于河南科技大學(xué),，1990年畢業(yè)于華中科技大學(xué)獲博士學(xué)位,。
長期從事新能源材料與器件,、先進(jìn)復(fù)合材料與結(jié)構(gòu),、材料微納計(jì)算與新材料設(shè)計(jì)等領(lǐng)域的研究開發(fā)和應(yīng)用研究工作，獲得國家發(fā)明獎(jiǎng)和國家自然科學(xué)獎(jiǎng)3項(xiàng),，在《Nature》《Nature Nanotechnology》《Nature Communication》《Physical Review Letters》等國際權(quán)威學(xué)術(shù)期刊發(fā)表論文260余篇,。先后擔(dān)任國家973計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目《高效熱電材料與器件》首席科學(xué)家（2007～2017）,；材料復(fù)合新技術(shù)國家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任（2005～2017）；科技部《第一屆國家基礎(chǔ)研究戰(zhàn)略咨詢委員會委員》（2020～）,；科技部《面向2035年國家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室戰(zhàn)略規(guī)劃研究》材料領(lǐng)域?qū)＜医M組長,；科技部《面向2035年交叉前沿與顛覆性創(chuàng)新戰(zhàn)略規(guī)劃研究》材料領(lǐng)域?qū)＜医M組長；國家重點(diǎn)研發(fā)計(jì)劃《變革性技術(shù)關(guān)鍵科學(xué)問題》重點(diǎn)專項(xiàng)指南編制專家組成員（2017～）,；國家自然科學(xué)基金委員會重大研究計(jì)劃《功能基元序構(gòu)的高性能材料》專家組組長（2019～）,。
作為高等教育管理專家，高度重視大學(xué)的戰(zhàn)略管理研究,，十分注重用先進(jìn)的教育思想和理念引領(lǐng)大學(xué)的發(fā)展,，十分重視大學(xué)現(xiàn)代治理能力的提升。提出了武漢理工大學(xué)的辦學(xué)思想體系,、發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略和實(shí)施途徑,，主持制定了《武漢理工大學(xué)章程》、《武漢理工大學(xué)十二五發(fā)展規(guī)劃》,、《武漢理工大學(xué)十三五發(fā)展規(guī)劃》,，推動發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略與規(guī)劃的有效實(shí)施，引領(lǐng)武漢理工大學(xué)快速和高質(zhì)量發(fā)展,。
在高等教育出版社,、光明日報(bào)、中國教育報(bào)等出版和發(fā)表了系列高等教育管理的論著,，包括《智慧光耀下的大學(xué)之道》（高等教育出版社,，2015年）等。
Dr. ZHANG Qingjie, male, born in November 1958 in Xixia County of Henan Province, Scientist in Materials Science and Member of Chinese Academy of Sciences. At present, he is the Director of Foshan Xianhu Laboratory of Advanced Energy Science and Technology in Guangdong province.
As a scientist in materials science, he has focused on the development and the application research in the areas of new energy materials and devices, advanced composite materials and structures, material micro-nano computation and new materials design, etc. In recent 20 years, Prof. Zhang received 3 National Awards for technological invention and scientific discovery including 2 National Technological Invention Awards and 1 National Natural Science Award. In 2017, Prof. Zhang received the American Ceramic Society Award for Frontier of Science and Technology-Rustum Roy Lecture. He has published more than 260 papers on leading international journals as Nature, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communication, Physical Review Letters etc. He has been appointed successively as Chief Scientist of National Basic Research Program of China (2007-2017) of High-efficiency Thermoelectric Materials and Devices, Director of State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Materials Synthesis and Processing (2005-2017), Member of 1st National Basic Research Strategy Advisory Committee of Ministry of Science and Technology (2020- ), Head of Expert Group of Materials for the Strategy Planning Research for State Key Laboratories Facing to 2035 of Ministry of Science and Technology, Head of Expert Group of Materials for the Strategy Planning Research on Interdisciplinary Frontiers and Disruptive Innovation Facing to 2035 of Ministry of Science and Technology, Member of Expert Group of Guideline drafting for National Key Research Program on Key Sciences Problems on Disruptive Technologies (2017- ), Head of Expert Group of Major Research Project on High-performance Materials with Ordered Functional Unit of National Natural Science Foundation Committee (2019- ).
As president of WUT, he pays important attention to the strategic management research on university, and to leading the university’s development with advanced education thoughts and ideas as well as to the promotion of the university’s modern governance ability. He proposed the educating ideology system, development strategy and practice approach for Wuhan University of Technology, and he chaired to draw up the Charter of Wuhan University of Technology, the 12th and the 13th Five Years Development Planning of Wuhan University of Technology, and promoted the implementation of the development strategy and planning so as to lead the University’s rapid development with high quality.
Besides, he has published a number of articles on higher education management on China Higher Education Press, Guangming Daily and China Education Daily, etc. including his monograph The University Ideology with Light of Wisdom (published on China Higher Education Press in 2015).
